Meeting with Philip Rosenfeld, President of the Jewish Community of Japan

At this special event, co-sponsored by the Federation and the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, you will have an exciting opportunity to learn about Jewish life in Tokyo.

In addition to serving as President of the Jewish Community of Japan, Philip is a leader of the JDC, for which he serves as Vice Chair of JDC’s Africa and Asia Committee. Philip was instrumental in the Jewish Community of Japan’s contribution to recovery and rebuilding following the massive earthquake and tsunami that struck northeastern Japan in 2011. Philip also is Co-Founder and Managing Director of JapanQuest Journeys, a boutique firm that specializes in customized luxury journeys to Japan.
